I love Disney. I think everybody love Disney. I don't know a person who doesn't like even a single Disney movie, story or character. When I was a child, I watched Disney movies through VHS (Video Home System). You know, the rectangular one where you insert a big tape and needs to switch on the other side when it's part 2. Oh memories! And now, I share my love for Disney to my son.
I'm so happy when we got an invite for the media launch last October 28 at SM Mall of Asia Skating Rink and get a glimpse on what we can expect for this year-end's Disney On Ice. Honestly, I'd never got a chance to experience and watch a live Disney On Ice show. My parents can't afford it when I was a child and for Prince, we are waiting for the right time where he can appreciate it because we can't afford to waste our money and time so we have to be sure. And I think this year is the time since he's now familiar with a lot of characters and its story.
Disney’s Moana voyages onto the ice as Disney On Ice presents Live Your Dreams, produced by Feld Entertainment Inc., brings courage and adventure to hometowns across Asia. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse bring audiences on an expedition across raging seas and snow-covered mountains in this action-packed extravaganza when beloved characters from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Tangled, Cinderella and Disney and Pixar Coco visits Manila from December 21, 2019 to January 5, 2020 at The SM Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets go on sale starting October 24 through SM Tickets.
What To Expect On The Show?
Watch your Disney favorites come to life on ice! Be ready to watch Moana and her epic adventure with the demigod Maui to save her island and true identity. Join Belle as she fearlessly befriends the enchanted castle staff and reveals the Beast’s gentleness. Witness Anna's devotion to her sister Elsa to mend their bond and stop an eternal winter. Celebrating family tradition and being true to yourself with Miguel from Disney and Pixar Coco who will bring the festivities of Dia de los Muertos to the ice and lives his dream of becoming a professional musician. Explore with Rapunzel, Flynn Rider as she goes to great lengths to realize her dream. Lastly, Cinderella with the help from her friends and a little magic will show that dreams do come true.
Of course Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be joining the show and uncover why no goal is too big when we find the strength to shape our destiny. Showgoers are encourage to arrive early for a warm welcome all the way from Hundred Acre Wood, as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger will teach the audience a special dance.

There's a lot of schedule to choose from so you'll have plenty of time to prepare and plan this activity with your kids. I'm planning to get the earlier schedule so I can still feel the hype of the performers and showgoers.
During the media launch, Mickey Mouse drop by and greeted all the guests and participants. My son is so happy to meet and hug him in person. It doesn't show on the picture but he's actually ecstatic going down from the stage.
We also met the kids from Team Yey which he always watch every morning.

We also got a chance to join a masterclass and try skating which is a first time for me and my son. I'm so proud of him because I really had a hard time doing it but I saw him, he's so brave and followed the instructions.
