Iglesia Ni Cristo Museum Blog Review

Welcome to another review here on my blog. Today I'll share our tour experience at INC Museum in Commonwealth Quezon City.

The five-level INC Museum, with a total area of 46,000 square meters, is considered to be the largest private and heritage museum, as well as the largest single-building museum in the country, according to INC General Auditor Bro. Glicerio Santos Jr.

First Stop: Fast Lane

Located at 2nd floor. Dumating na kami mga 3 pm kaya naman nagsimula na agad kami magtour. Pagpasok mo ay may mga tour guide na magaassist sayo. Sasabihin nila kapag pwede kumuha ng picture at kapag bawal ang phone.

Dito pinakita ang mga picture ng iba pang museum ng INC. The highlight of this section is the floor lighted map showing all the local congregations in the Philippines. Meron ding globe na touch screen at interactive dahil pwede mong itap ang lugar at ipapakita neto kung anong mga local ang naitayo sa bansa o lugar.

After a very quick tour, dadaan kayo sa isang small area to watch a short clip about bible at pagsisimula ng Kapatid na Felix Y. Manalo. After watching a short clip, we were brought to a place where all the timeline of special events were written on the wall, recognition from different respectable people, awards, plaques and a lot of valuable pieces about INC being recognized worldwide.

Second Stop: Historical Section

Historical Section is located in the third floor of the building. I think this is the largest section of the museum. Before you enter the said area, you will need to surrender your cellphones, cameras and any type of gadgets. Taking photos are not allowed.

Pinakapaborito kong part etong historical section. For me, ang naging experience ko dito ay para akong binalik sa nakaraan at unti unting nilakbay hanggang sa kasalukuyang pamamahala. It's like a narrative story of Bro. Felix Y. Manalo, Bro. Eraño G. Manalo and Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo (current Executive Minister of Iglesia Ni Cristo).

Mahahalatang pinagisipang mabuti kung pano pagdudugtung dugtungin ang mga makasaysayang pangyayari at mahahalagang kagamitan. Meron ditong mga wax figure na akala mo ay totoong tao, mga miniature figures tulad ng nasa picture sa taas, mga lumang kagamitan tulad ng kasuotan ni Bro. Felix Manalo, setup ng opisina at mga mahahalagang pangyayari, at miski ang napakaclassic na sasakyan ni Bro. Felix ay makikita din dito. Sa totoo lang napakadami mong makikita dito. Napakalawak pero hindi nakakapagod libutin.

Third Stop: Thematic Section

This section is located in fourth floor. Here, you are allowed to take pictures. That picture shows the evolution of our Pasugo (God's Message) magazine.

This is one of my favorite section. I love miniature figures. I can't imagine how hard to create and perfect this kind of art.

Just be careful when taking pictures. There are signage where it says no touch and no picture taking.

Fourth Stop: Children's Museum

There are other sections that we didn't get a chance to visit. Late na kasi kami nakapunta. There's Museum Audio Visual Room, Museum Cafe and Souvenir Shop.

Fees, Tips and Reminder

Entrance Fee:
🏛️ Adult: ₱350.00/head
       Kids: ₱150.00/head (11 years old and below)

Reminders/Rules:

🏛️ Walk, don't run
🏛️ Talk in low voice, not in loud voice. No shouting.
🏛️ Eating and Drinking is not allowed
🏛️ Picture taking in some areas are not allowed
🏛️ Flash photography in other sections are not allowed
🏛️ Children should be supervised
🏛️ Large bags are not allowed and should be deposited at the baggage counter
🏛️ May ask questions to tour guide
🏛️ It is forbidden to touch the works of art. There must be a distance of at least 50 cm (20 inches) to the artwork
🏛️ Be courteous to other visitors, don't stay too long on any exhibit, give way to others.
🏛️ Do watch your every step
🏛️ No calls and text in the museum, set your phone off or on silent mode
🏛️ The entire museum is subject to a total bank on smoking
🏛️ No firearms allowed
🏛️ In case of an emergency, follow the tour guide and the lighted emergency exit ways

What I like about the INC Museum...

This may sound biased, but this is the most beautiful and organized museum I have ever seen. Not that I've seen a lot but I am really amazed how artifacts and historical objects were preserved since 1914. Staff are courteous and approachable. Considering the entrance fee is very affordable, you'll experience world-class museum tour. This is open for public even non-INC so I highly recommend you check this out.
