My son turned 2 years old last May 🎂🎉 (grabe na talaga mga backlogs ko) and I've been planning this for I think 3 months. Grabe din talaga ang preparation ko. Well of course this is a special day so dapat maging special din ang celebration.
I'm not sure if most of the kids love animals but my son is fascinated and addicted whenever we watch them and interact with them. Which is why I came up with this plan to have a day tour with animals. Before we did this, we prepared ourselves and of course him, so we went to nearby zoos para masigurado ko kung mageenjoy siya. Baka kasi pag wild animals na, matakot siya at umiyak or worse gusto ng umalis.
Umalis kami ng 7 am and arrived at 10:30 am. Mga 3-4 hours ang byahe. I bought our tickets through Metrodeal. I got it for ₱499 per adult person instead of ₱788 and ₱399 for Prince instead of ₱628. Medyo may kamahalan ang regular rate kaya mag-abang lang ng promo and discount.
Upon validating the tickets, they will give you pass and small paper of scheduled show. Medyo late na kami sa unang show but it's fine, nakahabol pa din.
WILD WORLD at ECO THEATER
Show starts at 10:15 am. Sorry wala ako masiyadong photos for Wild World dahil medyo late na kami so medyo di maganda yung spot na napunta samen. Para siyang outdoor auditorium and medyo maliit lang yung lugar which is fine para mas makapaginteract ang mga tao sa show. They are educating people about rare wild animals like snake, owl, black panther and different types of rare birds. It's entertaining and nakakatuwa makita yung mga animals na well-trained.
AMAN SINAYA LEGEND OF THE OCEAN
Aman Sinaya is a musical show about valuing and protecting the ocean. Not just ocean but all water resources and body of water. Si Prince sobrang hilig niya sa Finding Nemo kaya nung nakita niya sila Nemo at Dory, nagsisigaw siya sa tuwa. Way back in high school, I did some musical shows and play din pero within school lang yun. Simula nun naging high standard ako pagdating sa performances. With this show, they do lip sync but one thing I noticed, kahit na kabisado na nila yung steps at kanta, parang di sila seryoso. Especially yung mga additional characters. Nagtatawanan sila, nagkukuwentuhan habang yung bida nagpeperform. For me, I was not entertained but still there's a lesson that children can learn from it.DOLPHIN SHOW
After Aman Sinaya we went to Dolphin Show. The show was really fun and nakakaamaze ang mga stunts and tricks ng dolphin. Nakakatuwa din yung little humor show nung 2 guy/host.
WOW! Yan yung makikita mong reaction kay Prince. I'm really glad he liked the show. Sa sobrang entertained ako, di ko na napicturan or navideohan yung dolphin tricks.
SEA LION SHOW
We went to Sea Lion show after the Dolphin show. So magkakaiba po sila ng lugar. Wala silang map pero pwede kang magtanong sa mga staff kasi medyo nakakalito kung saan yung current show. Actually I am not excited with this, kasi kagaling lang namen ng Manila Ocean Park at meron din silang Sea Lion Show pero yung sa Ocean Adventure, sobrang tawang tawa ako. Naluha ako kakatawa. Siguro sa lahat ng show, dito ako pinaka nagenjoy.
They have a total of 4 shows. Isang morning batch at isang afternoon batch. Yung shows nila nagiiba iba ng order not sure kung every month, quarterly or monthly sila nagpapalit. I suggest you come as early as 10:00 am. Tuloy tuloy yung shows unlike with Manila Ocean Park, putol putol. But they give time for people to have lunch.
One thing I liked in Ocean Adventure is this fantastic view. It's inviting me to take a dip. Look at the water. It's so clear.
While walking we saw a dolphin swam near the shore. It's really amazing. Sobrang happy ni Prince nung nakita niya yung dolphin.
After that, we explore the place and found this Ocean Discovery Aquarium. If you would like to see different kinds of fish and other water types of water animals, Manila Ocean Park is much better than Ocean Adventure. Here in Ocean Adventure they only have few aquariums and fishes.
To be honest wala talaga masiyadong mapapasyalan sa Ocean Adventure. Their main attraction here is their 4 live shows and encounter with dolphins, shark rays and turtles. Yung encounter with animals is separate fee pa from entrance fee.

Well that's it. We ended our day tour around 2 pm and went to Horizon Hotel where we stay. If you want to check my review for Horizon Hotel please click here.
What I like about Ocean Adventure:
•🐬Continuous live shows (except lunch time).
•🐬Amazing view of the sea.
•🐬Area is spacious and maintained facilities.
•🐬Location is easy to spot on. Can be found through waze.
What I think they can still improve:
•🐬I hope they create a map rather than the list of shows so people will be able to locate the next show easily.
•🐬I hope they can add more attractions.
Tips:
•🐬Purchase a discount deal from Metrodeal or avail their promos. Their entrance fee is quite expensive.
•🐬Morning batch is much better because entertainer are still hyped. So come as early as 10:00 am.
•🐬If you are planning to visit this please, much better if you can avail their animal encounter to make your trip worth it.
•🐬Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Preferably for clothes, wear cotton because the place is a bit hot. (I'm not sure if that is because we went there during summer).

It has been more than 10 years since I went to Ocean Adventure with my two daughters. It was for their school field trip. It looks like it hasn't changed much since then. Would still love to go back though to take my two little boys naman.
ReplyDeleteYour 4 hours travel is sulit, seeing that grin on "your" son's face.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't been to Ocean Adventure yet, but will keep in our list of to do when we visit Subic. My boys loved Ocean Park in HK, S.E.A Aquarium Sg and Kaiyukan Aquarium in Osaka, I am sure they will love Ocean Adventure too.
We've been to Ocean Adventure twice and we also enjoyed it. Pinalitan na pala nila yung isang show nila, we haven't watched the Aman Sinaya Legend of the Sea. It is quite expensive nga kaya dapat sulitin ang trip.
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday to the little prince. Dolphins are really fun to watch lalo na kapag they show some tricks. Ang cute. Surely the little one had a blast and also the parents :)
ReplyDeletei have never been to this place honestly, and want to be here someday. such a lovely place to stroll around and relax
ReplyDeleteI haven't visited Ocean Adventure for a long time because my daughter is teenage-y na and iba na ang mga gustong puntahan. But when she's still small, we've made rounds of the zoo and ocean parks also. There's an animal sanctuary near Ocean Adventure where they treat wounded wild animals found in the Bataan forest. Lots of owls there also. We love that place.
